ROOTED IN OUR PAST AND GROWING TOWARDS OUR FUTURE!
Since 1900 our church has shown a commitment to sharing the Gospel and helping people follow Jesus. Several of our pastors have gone on to be missionaries or had previously served as missionaries. Our church has been committed to give generously to help carry the Gospel around the world. We have are a church with a heart ❤️ for the Delta Region of Arkansas with hand that reach around the world 🌍 . Today we celebrate all that God has done in our past and look forward to what God is doing and will do in our future.
GO GATHER GLORIFY
These three words give us a simple guide to pattern our lives after as followers of Jesus. Throughout the Bible, both Old and New Testament, God has called His people to gather to worship Him and encourage one another. In the Old Testament we see that happen through the nation of Israel. In the New Testament we see that happen as the early church gathered at the temple and from house to house. God does not call His people into isolation though; in fact, Jesus said "GO and make disciples" as some of His last words to us. We are commanded and called to go and gather. Finally, whether we are going or gathering we are to do all things to glorify God. the Bible says that we are to live our lives as "living sacrifices".
